چکیده

This article presents the synthesis and sorption characteristics of novel microspheres based on 4-vinylbenzene chloride (VBCl) with divinylbenzene (DVB) or ethylene glycol dimethylacrylate (EGDMA). To confirm chemical structure homo- co-polymers attenuated total reflectance, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) was used. The presence characteristic functional groups (−OH, −CH, −CH2, C−O, C=O C–O–C) in obtained confirmed. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis confirms good thermal resistance polymers. decomposition is closely related to monomers DVB-derived materials decompose one step, whereas EGDMA derivatives multi-stage. Obtained polymeric were applied for auramine O (AO) basic dye removal form aqueous solutions. Equilibrium studies confirmed that Freundlich model described system better than Langmuir Temkin equations adsorption capacities kF ranged from 4.56 7.85 mg1−1/n L1/n/g. kinetic AO solutions 10 100 mg/L concentrations very fast, after min, equilibrium reached.

Removal of Chromium(VI) from Aqueous Solutions Using Fe3O4 Magnetic Polymer Microspheres Functionalized with Amino Groups

Magnetic polymer microspheres (MPMs) using glycidylmethacrylate (GMA) as a functional monomer were synthesized in the presence of Fe₃O₄ nanoparticles via dispersion polymerization. After polymerization, the magnetic polymer microbeads were modified with ethylenediamine (EDA). The obtained ethylenediamine-functionalized magnetic microspheres (EDA-MPMs) were characterized by scanning electron mic...
